Happy Birthday ...to ...William ...Shatner ...KHANNNNNN!!!!!!!!

Cheers....to you....old...friend!!
William Shatner, or ol' Billy as I and other close friends refer to him, was born on this date in 1931.
Perhaps best known as the amazing voice behind his debut album, The Transformed Man, it may surprise you he also appeared on a little known sci-fi show in the sixties called "Star Trek".
In addition to this, and the normal summer stock, he also is a best selling author, multi-Emmy and Golden Globe winning actor, starred in Incubus (one of only two films to have all the dialogue in Esperanto), participated in the first televised inter-racial kiss in 1968, sold his kidney stone for $25000, been married 4 times (2 divorces, 1 drowning, and one still married), speaks fluent French and Esperanto, had Michael Myers in Halloween wear his halloween mask that has been painted white, is of Jewish Ukranian decent, was a cast member on Howdy Doody, and has a tuope named after him (The Shatner 2000).

My favorite Shatner Quote: "Yes, I've gone where no man has gone before, but... I was in Mexico and her father gave me permission!"

Other things to know about Shatner:

-- He holds the world's record in cheesemaking.
-- His "hair" is actually an advanced alien space-creature from the planet Nebulak. That's in the Osirus system, although at only 43 parsecs from Dobsuran, it's often considered "East Malaridus." The symbiotic Nebulakians trade a host creature's hair folicles for life-giving brain juice, which is how Shatner stays so young! (See also: Clark, Dick.)
-- Spent 1973 touring sub-Saharan Africa in a musical version of "On The Waterfront"
-- Has never once, in his 73 years on our planet, asked to be taken to a leader -- ours or any other.
